About Me
I am Jennifer Enders, a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth services in Arizona. I graduated with my B.S. degree in Psychology in 2001 and my M.A. degree in Counseling in 2006. I have over 21 years of experience providing mental health services. I am a certified Meditation and Mindfulness teacher and love to also bring this into my work and I publish guided meditations on Insight Timer. I am the author of "Be Beyond Well", a publication about being the best version of YOU!
My counseling philosophy is that people know themselves best and have the inner strength and wisdom to heal, with a little help. I offer a safe non-judgmental space to do the work. Together, we explore belief systems and how these impact emotions and behaviors and have an impact on overall mental health symptoms.
I value a person-centered approach and understand the importance of a good therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness Practices as part of my therapeutic interventions. I am trauma informed and understand how the past informs the present. I am inclusive and consider myself an ally to others of various backgrounds and experiences. My favorite thing is to provide a safe space to feel seen and heard in a non-judgmental space.
I enjoy working with adults and I love to help guide clients to feel like the best version of themselves. I provide counseling to clients that are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, adjustments-changes-transitions, low self-esteem and self-worth, troubles with relationships, communication, boundaries, burnout, stress and overwhelm, chronic medical issues and chronic pain, compassion fatigue, and I like to consider myself a therapist of therapists.
